Leisure Quiz
A full-featured exam-prep quiz app for job seekers and students — quiz engine, performance stats, achievement levels, offline support and multi-auth. Built in Flutter, live on iOS and Google Play.
Most quiz apps are just a list of questions. This one had to be a full exam-prep platform — gamified, offline-capable, and monetised.
The brief was a production exam-prep app for job seekers and students: practise interview-style questions across topics, track progress over time, and stay motivated through a real sense of advancement — on both iOS and Android.
The task: build the whole thing in Flutter — a multi-type quiz engine, a statistics dashboard, an achievement-level system, offline answer syncing, multi-provider auth, payments and ads — and keep it clean enough to maintain and grow.
Architecture & auth
Set up a feature-first architecture with Riverpod, go_router, and fpdart for typed error handling. Built multi-provider sign-in — Google, Apple, and email OTP — token-based against a FastAPI backend, with persistent sessions.
Quiz engine & progress
Built the API-driven quiz engine with multiple question types, timers, and explanations, then layered on a statistics dashboard (fl_chart) and a gamified achievement system that levels users up from Intern to CTO.
Offline, payments & ship
Added offline answer syncing (connectivity_plus), PayPal subscriptions and per-topic purchases, AdMob, and push notifications — all in a Material 3 light/dark UI, then shipped to the App Store and Google Play.
