A video-learning app that puts Odisha's Class 9 & 10 syllabus on screen — organised class → subject → chapter → lesson, taught entirely in Odia, with a streaming player and auto-queued chapter playlists. Live on Google Play.

Quality exam prep in a student's own language — Odia — is scarce; most apps default to English or Hindi.
Pathasala Play set out to give Odisha's Class 9 and 10 students a full video-learning library in their mother tongue, mapped to their board syllabus — every subject taught on screen, chapter by chapter, rather than buried in a wall of text.
The task: build a polished cross-platform app that streams a large catalogue of lessons, stays easy to navigate from class → subject → chapter → lesson, and plays back smoothly and reliably on the budget Android devices students actually use.
Structured the whole catalogue as class → subject → chapter → lesson so any video is a few taps away, then built a companion Flutter web admin dashboard so the team can publish, order and update the entire library — banners, subjects, chapters and lessons — without a developer.
Built the chapter playlists and the lesson player — thumbnails, durations, and progress — with an auto-queued 'Next in this chapter' so students move through a topic without hunting for the next video.
Delivered a clean dark, teal-accented UI in full Odia, tested playback across budget Android devices, and shipped to Google Play with push notifications for new lessons.
